Melody is an open source content management and publishing application created by people who share an abiding passion for blogging, open source and especially for Movable Type. Melody is a project initiated and governed by many of the members of the Movable Type community who have a shared desire to help in building a better blogging product that benefits Movable Type and Melody users alike. Central to its mission and its future success are the freedoms manifest in and inherent to open source; the very same freedoms which enable us to start this project today.
